Fantaball.com is a competitive Internet fantasy football site offering games of skill. The winners of all contests will have accumulated the most points and victories using the objective criteria set for the contests. All members agree to comply and be bound to all of Fantaball.com’s terms and conditions. Read carefully all "terms" before using the site. Your participation in Fantaball.com’s contests constitutes your understanding and agreement to all "terms." We reserve the right to change, delete, modify, or add to the "terms" at any time. Fantaball.com is provided on an "as-is" basis and with no warranties either implied or expressed. Fantaball.com’s decisions are final on all contests’ rules and terms. Fantaball.com reserves the right to modify the terms and rules at its discretion as needed.
This site is for members with Internet access only. All members are responsible for maintaining and obtaining all the equipment necessary to access and to use the site and all the charges associated with this. Members are fully responsible for all of their necessary equipment and connections to the Internet. Fantaball.com is not responsible for delayed transactions, missed lineup submission deadlines, draft and auction problems, and all other game play due to Internet technical problems, delayed transmittance and/or malfunctions. Members agree not to hold Fantaball.com responsible for computer damage or malfunction due to any Virus that the member may receive due to participating in our contests.
Payment and prize awarding will be done through Paypal. You will not need an account in order to pay using Paypal and you may use all valid credit cards through Paypal to pay for Fantaball.com’s contests. If you did not have a Paypal account at sign up, we will send out prizes by check.
You must be 18 years of age or older or the age of majority in your local jurisdiction at the time of registration in order to play our fantasy games. Fantaball.com is a cash prize paying competitive fantasy football site and is legal to play in all states, but if you reside in Arizona, Iowa, Louisiana, Vermont, or Montana your state laws may make playing in pay fantasy football game an illegal activity if you receive a cash prize. You may play our games but accepting a cash prize may be illegal in these said states. Our contests are governed by all local, state, federal and provincial laws and void where prohibited by law. You are responsible for your provincial, local and state laws.
Fantaball.com employees, directors and their immediate family members, and affiliates are not eligible for prizes in Fantaball.com’s fantasy leagues.
We reserve the right to disqualify any participant if Fantaball.com decides that he is cheating or in collusion with another team or teams. This includes but is not limited to dumping of a roster and trades deemed collusive. Members are allowed only one team per league and we reserve the right to cancel your rights to your teams if found to have ownership of more than one team per league. Also, forfeiture of all entry fees and prizes won for all the teams found to be in violation of these policies can occur at any time. We reserve the right to terminate your entry which would result in all parties being removed and forfeiture of all their entry fees and prizes if found to be undermining the legitimate contest play. Also, included in disqualification will be tampering with the site in any way shape or form.
Attempts by a participant to subvert the principles of the contests by deliberately altering or damaging it will be in violation of both criminal law and civil laws and Fantaball.com reserves the right to seek damages to the full extent permitted by law.
Refunds will not be granted for any and all missed drafts or auctions. The member agrees to forfeit all rights to entry fees paid or prizes won by the member’s team if they cancel the membership, violate the contest rules, or are deemed to abandon the team.
Members agree to hold harmless all agents, advertisers, third parties, owners, directors, and subsidiaries from liability for any costs, claims, damages, losses of any kind from participation or from acceptance of any prizes.
Fantaball.com’s service, logo, and game are protected by U.S. copyright and trademark laws along with international conventions and laws. The copying or unauthorized use of Fantaball.com’s trademark, materials, graphic, image, game and other proprietary rights is strictly prohibited and illegal without prior written permission.
Members agree that all disputes, claims, and controversies will be settled by binding arbitration and the maximum in awards will be limited only to entry fees paid. Members agree not to seek punitive, incidental, and consequential awards, agreeing that any dispute will be resolved between parties individually and without any form of class action. This agreement, terms and interpretation will be bound, governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan and Kent County. All parties submit irrevocably and consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the State and Federal courts in the venue of Michigan and in the County of Kent.
If any portion or part of Fantaball.com’s terms is found to be void or unenforceable, pursuant to a legal decree, then the remainder of the terms will survive and be valid and enforceable.
All taxes due on all prizes paid are the sole responsibilities of the prize winners. A Form 1099 will be required to be filled out on all prizes more than $600 US. Members will have to confirm their ID on their email account and supply the information necessary, including their social security number, to complete the 1099 before prizes will be paid more than $600 US. Prizes are not transferable.
In the event that the National Football League cancels, ends early or postpones the season or fantasy game play, we reserve the right to award prizes based on total points at the time the season is disrupted. If a tie in total points occurs, the awarded prize will be shared equally between the teams. If individual games are postponed to a future week or cancelled, you must not have their players in the starting lineup that week or they will register zero points. Also, the points accrued in the postponed game will not retroactively count for the week originally scheduled.
